a) write a better rap for me

Talent ooh the talent bubblin in me
Violin strings, a chorus that sings
A writer so good that her blog blings
Sharks if you hear me…say lower eastside
gimme a paint brush, canvas and I’ll glide
slide down, y’all, the cafeteria bench
I’ll have a hamburger grilled and a fry that is French

Got on stage, played loud as I could
Rocked a mike real hard til everyone stood
Good job good work good grades all day
That’s how we role right here at 188
So hate on us and risk get dissed
By kids whose garageband got beats that crisp

Remember the aquarium in blumberg’s room?
And the way the fish swam on spring afternoons?
Well that’s us
Swimmin’ upstream
Drinkin books like coffee and Math like cream
4 floors to climb, but 8 grades in all
we’re the best on the court– sharks basketball…
We rise tall

Went to mom’s on the corner
Came back with plenty
So who wanna test?
And get rocked with a 4
ELA to Science they’ll find sharks that roar
No More! They’ll say…
Y’all are deadly with pencils
