Help Create an Island School Chatbot

picture-1

Virsona is a website that lets you create your own chatbot like Suzette and Spotchy (but more polite).  The chatbot can be based on a historical figure like Harriett Tubman, a fictional character like Harry Potter, or even yourself!  For this assignment you will be helping to teach an Island School chatbot to act like a real middle school student.  I already created a boy middle schooler named Kevin and a girl middle schooler named Janine .  Choose one and help teach it to pass the Turing Test (to sound real).

7th & 8th Graders: Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

Are you an amazing artist or a talented writer?  Judging from a lot of the work I’ve seen from you, the answer is “yes”. Scholastic is having a contest for young artists and writers to show off their talents.  Winners will have their work published in the magazine SparkClick Here for more info.  Either way, check out Spark, it has really cool work from teens.
