3.    Next, look over everything you’ve written in bubbl.us, your blog, and in Inspiration about garbage.  Write out at least 5 interview questions you could answer as an expert in garbage.  Now, using IMovie, have a partner interview you using your questions. Publish your movie on your blog (ask Mr. Lahana how).

Assignment 27 (7th and 8th Grade): Trash Talk, Part 1

garbage-man

In this unit we’ll be learning everything there is to know about garbage including: what it’s really like to be a sanitation worker, where garbage goes after it gets picked up, amazing ways it’s recycled, the mob’s connection to garbage, and people who live off eating garbage.  Stay tuned, it should be an interesting ride.

Just like our unit on blood diamonds, you will be creating a bubbl.us to organize your ideas, facts, and questions about garbage.  Please keep one bubbl.us for all the garbage assignments– do not create a new one for each assignment.

1. Begin by watching Garbage Part 1 by clicking HERE.

2. Now, go to bubbl.us and brainstorm your ideas, facts, and questions about garbage collection.

3. Finally, post your Garbage Bubbl.us onto your blog.  Click HERE if you forgot how.

** Extra Credit**

In your blog or bubbl.us list every way you can think of to disopose (get rid) of garbage– be inventive!
